Full Bio of Karam Asmaro, MD
Dr. Karam Paul Asmaro is a neurosurgeon based in Royal Oak, Michigan, with a focus on minimally invasive brain and spine surgery, complemented by subspecialty training in endoscopic endonasal skull base surgery from Stanford University. He completed his medical education at Wayne State University and neurosurgical residency at Henry Ford Health. Dr. Asmaro treats complex conditions such as brain tumors and vascular lesions, aiming to improve patient outcomes through advanced techniques and expanded endoscopic skull base surgery. He is passionate about cavernous sinus surgery and providing curative options for patients with benign skull base pathology. His commitment to the field and collaborative approach make him a suitable candidate for a board seat at the Michigan Association of Neurosurgeons.

Serve the community and contribute to the MANS annual meeting while encouraging collaboration and education.
What are you goals for the organization, and how would you help achieve them if elected to the Board?
Enhance communication, resident education, and outreach. Contribute and organize resident education seminars during the annual meeting and/or throughout the year. Resident dissection labs would be a great addition.
